Happy Birthday to ME!

Happy Birthday to me!
Sorry for the delay to all my readers and followers, the past couple of weeks has been HECTIC!

Two weeks ago, on July 26, I was blessed with the opportunity to see my 20th birthday. Now, unlike many others who goes all out and has 'Birthday Extravaganza', I woke up, thanked the man above, and did what I loved the most, WORK! Now im not really saying this sarcastically, but I really do love my job. For those who are curious as to what I do, I am a swim coach/ teacher. But thats besides the point. The two weekends of my birthday (before and after) you can say I had the time of my life, thanks to my dear friend Alex (thanks girl!). It was also my boy, and Alex's brother, Rudy's birthday so it was great for me to party with the veteran himself (lol). The weekend after my birthday, a couple girlfriends and friends of mine went to Pacha, a club out in the city, which was by the way my first club outting.

Now, luckily for me the theme of the night was 'No Pants', meaning inorder for someone to get in for free they would have to take off their pants. ;)

The weekend before my birthday was a-whole-nother ball game. Alex threw a party for a childhood friend of mine name Nick & boy was it fun!

Although there are lots of pictures here, I can't finish this blogpost without sharing what I have learned. I've realized that while others go all out for that one special day, I realized that we should celebrate everyday as if it was our birthday. I dont mean it by going out to the club every weekend and spending money frivolously, I mean to always enjoy everyday as your last. When you wake up everyday feeling grateful and blessed you tend to enjoy and see things in a different perspective. You also don't have to spend a ton of money to have the time of your life. Just spending time with family and friends should suffice, and if it doesn't, you should maybe reevaluate who you surround yourself around. But one thing for sure is to  always treat yourself . Whether its a quick get-a-way trip to the beach,or go out of town and possibly go to Atlantic City. Just keep in mind that you should enjoy the fruits of your labor.
